trilby. = It depends. you can say i'm a possessive person, in every aspect, but sometimes yea i really don't mind working with someone. Jen_ courtney_4: When you first started to write, were you nervous about publishing it?
Trilby. = When I first started to write, the thought of publishing never came to mind. But when I did publish my fanfic, i was a little nervous. Jen_courtney_4: How many books have your written? Names of Books? Co-writers?
Trilby. = i have 3 unfinished original stories, plan to continue just one of them, but later, i'm already juggling too many stories. My first one was named 'End of the world" lol kinda stupid, but it was a nice serious fantasy based. Apart from that i have written a few fanfictions like 'The Legacy', 'Gives you hell', 'Black coffee', 'Chase into the unknown', working on an outtake too. As for co-writing, i am helping a girl co-write an original fic. still working n the plot for that.Jen_courtney_4: Have you been a beta long? Did you like it?

PrincessxoAmber: I started writing in high school for the school newspaper, but stopped for a while, and just started writing fan fiction, a little less then a year ago.

PrincessxoAmber: I don’t have a book, I do have my fan fic pieces and the first thing I wrote was crap and I deleted it. Then I got started on Getting Back What Once Was Lost.

PrincessxoAmber: I just finished it in January, but it’s set up for a sequel.

PrincessxoAmber: I do like working alone. It makes me completely dependant on myself. Sure I ask for help and my beta is a godsend, but I’d rather think of the ideas myself. My boyfriend does let me run things by him, and bounce ideas off of him

PrincessxoAmber: Yeah, I freaked out and stared at my email until I got my first review.

PrincessxoAmber: Um, right now, I think there are 14 things on my profile page. I am however working on like 6 contests. So I’ll have to wait for those to be posted. Geez, I have so many to name, but my WIP’s are The Dream Catcher, My Love is Yours, and Surrounded by Your Embrace.

PrincessxoAmber: Actually, Miss Jen, is my first Beta-ee. I hadn’t beta’d before, and she asked and I adore it. Actually my own beta has asked me to beta for her, so that’s fun.

cullens gal: Hmmm, I’m totally digging The Mortal Instruments series right now =)

PrincessxoAmber: My fav fan fiction would have to be, um…wow….Full Circle/Sword and the Shield. They were pulled by the author, but they are so awesome. But I read almost anything that is Jas/Bella.

PrincessxoAmber: Oh my goodness, I think I have at least 400 on my favs list….

PrincessxoAmber: Jasper Whitlock. He’s the Major, I mean, he’s this bad-ass soldier and he can mess with emotions, plus, Jackson Rathbone is damn dreamy.

PrincessxoAmber: Hmmm, my least fav, that’s hard. I think I enjoy everyone, well, I don’t really like the way Tanya is portrayed in most fan fictions, she’s just….growl. I can’t say Victoria, because she was just trying to avenge her mate, maybe James, because of what he did to Alice, and then to Bella…..

Caz:I started being a Beta for my friend Twinkle 101 sometime last year and I’ve also Beta’d a few one shots. I do enjoy doing it, it’s great when you can help someone else with their stories, I love discussing plot ideas etc then seeing them make it to the page.
Jen_courtney_4: Favorite book you read, non fan fiction?
Caz:Twilight Saga. I love all of them but Eclipse is my favourite. My favourite book after the Twilight books would be Water For Elephants, it’s a fantastic story and the imagery is amazing.
Jen_courtney_4: Favorite fan fiction story (why)?
Caz:OMG I have a few favourites but two that I really can’t choose between. The first one, which is actually the first Fan Fic I read, is I love L.A by feathers_mmmm. It’s a Robert Pattinson fic and it’s simply amazing. It has such a sense of realism and is so well researched, she captured Rob’s personality amazingly well and the lemons in it are just sooo hot. The second is Wide Awake by AngstGodess003 this story had me hooked from the first chapter. The title is very fitting as I stayed up all night reading it. It made me laugh,made me cry and at times even made me angry. Her characters are amazing and the storyline is just epic.
Jen_courtney_4: How many fan fiction books have you read?

Jen_courtney_4: What is your least favorite book? Please explain why.
Caz: Wow honestly I wouldn’t have a clue, I’m a fan fic addict and read on average about two completed fics a week (depending on the length), plus the updates of non-completed stories. If I was to guess Id say about a 100 by now.
Jen_courtney_4: Least favorite fan fiction story? Why?
Caz: Gynazole because the humour in it just wasn’t for me, although it’s well written, I just couldn’t get into it and gave up reading it after about 5 or 6 chapters.
Jen_courtney_4: Favorite Twilight character, And Why?
Caz: I’m an Edward girl all the way, lol. Why? To be honest I’m not sure, I really can’t explain the draw this character has on me. I just love everything about him. There is quite simply no fictional character that comes close to Edward Cullen.
Jen_courtney_4: Least favorite Twi character? Why?
caz: I don’t really have a least favourite as all of Stephanie’s characters are so good and each has there role to play. But the one I love to hate is Jacob. He annoys the hell out of me lol. He should just leave Bella alone, he’s too immature for her. I so wanted Edward to kick his ass for kissing his girl and I love the fics where he gets to that lol.

Jen_courtney_4: What was your first book you wrote? Did you enjoy working on it?
wmr1601: My first book was an original (non-fan-fiction) story called Nothing Twice. It is currently available on my website, www.wendymrobertson.com, and is a teenage love story revolving around time travel. I enjoyed working on it very much; I wrote the entire thing (497 pages worth) in just about 6 weeks.
Jen_courtney_4: When did you finish the book?
wmr1601: I finished it in mid-March 2010.
Jen_courtney_4: Do you like working alone? Please explain.
wmr1601: Well, ‘working alone’ is a relative phrase. I write all of my rough drafts alone, but I never rely only on myself to make sure they’re good enough to post. Nothing Twice was the exception to that rule, and frankly, there’s a reason it’s never been picked up for publishing, lol! Now, I tend to have between one and three prereaders go over my work before I publish it. For my ‘solo’ fan fic story, Pen Pals, I use a prereader and a beta. The other two stories I’m working on are both official collabs. In both of these stories (Sexual Healing with caz12771 and a yet-to-be-titled one-shot with SaritaDreaming), there are dual points-of-view, so each of us is taking one character to build the story around. Both ways of writing (working alone and collaborating) have their strengths; both also have their weaknesses. I enjoy both methods, although, right now—at this stage in my writing—I think I’d have to say I prefer the collaborative stories, so long as I get along with my co-writer and we have similar writing styles.
Jen_ courtney_4: When you first started to write, were you nervous to publish it?
wmr1601: I’m not nervous about letting people I’ve never met read my work, but I’m terribly afraid to talk about my writing with people I do know. So the short answer is no. I like the anonymity of writing for FF.net; it’s really rewarding to have loads of readers, but I don’t feel self-conscious about it, because I can hide behind my penname.
Jen_courtney_4: How many books have your written? Names of Books? Co-writers?
wmr1601: I’ve only completed one full-length book, and that is Nothing Twice. As far as fan fiction, I’ve got Pen Pals, which is a work-in-progress, although it’s nearly complete. I’ve written 3 other short stories around the Twilight characters, and all of those are complete. The first is a rewrite of chapter 1 of New Moon from Edward’s point-of-view. The other two are based on songs, one from Celine Dion’s It’s All Coming Back to Me Now, which I just wrote for my own enjoyment, and one from George Strait’s Check Yes or No. CYON was written for a contest, and I won second place out of 39 entries for that one. My current endeavors are my collaboration chapter story with caz12771, and the collaborative one-shot with SaritaDreaming. wmr1601: I read a lot, and there aren’t very many books that I don’t like. If I had to pick one that I’ve read recently and just didn’t particularly like, that would be The Time-Traveler’s Wife. There was nothing wrong with the book itself, it just didn’t really speak to me.
